The Three Cities:
These small cities go by the names of Cospicua, Senglea and Vittoriosa. They are popularly known as the Three Cities, a term which was first used during the French occupation, when Napoleon decreed that Malta was to be divided into a number of administration units.
Maritime Museum:
The Museum is hosted in the former naval bakery built in 1842 over the site of the slipway where the Order of St John and the Royal Navy.
Ghar Dalam:
The underground cave of Ghar Dalam ( The Dark Cave) is not a prehistoric temple. In fact it is a cave, which served as the abode of the first Neolithic settlers of these islands about 6000 years ago. More over Ghar Dalam Cave provides special interest in relation to Malta's geological past.
Inquistor's Palace:
The Inquistor's Palace houses a folklore museum with displays of tools farming implements objects of devotion and other artifacts used in bygone age. Also of interest is the building itself once the sea of the inquisition in Malta. One may also see the inquisitor's private apartments the judgement hall and dungeons.
Harbour Cruise:
Witness Malta's living past cruise around the two natural harbours on either side of Valletta Marsamxett Harbour and the Grand Harbour. A detailed commentary will unfold the history of Valletta and the three cities connected with two Great Siege of 1565 and 1942 as well as all the other places of interest including the historical forts battlements and creeks, which can only be admired from the sea. Approx time of cruise 1hr 30 mins.
